Audit Supervisor
Ini Babalola is an Audit Supervisor with Williams Adley. She has been with the firm for over 10 years performing governmental audits and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of auditing and management consulting services.Ini Babalola
She has primary responsibility for planning and developing engagement strategies for government, education and non-profit related audit engagements. Her key role includes performing engagement risk assessments, evaluating internal and accounting system controls, developing and training staff, supervising and reviewing engagement work product as well as preparing and reviewing financial statements and management letters.
In addition; being a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); she leads information systems audits, assessing vulnerabilities, identifying critical issues and control gaps, recommending adequate technology controls and reporting on compliance within an enterprise. Ini meets all requirements for continuing professional education under GAGAS and the State of California Auditor’s Office.
Q: What was your first job?
A: My first job was right after high school as an accounting assistant with a big publishing company. It was very interesting to meet and interact with the journalists and seeing how they get and report their news.
Q: What do you believe brings clients to Williams Adley?
A. I believe it is our reputation over the years of producing great quality work and also consistency in the community.
Q: How do you keep a competitive edge?
A: In this day and age of technological advancement; I keep a competitive edge by keeping abreast of the latest technology that will be beneficial in my delivery to clients and also by participating in continuing education.
Q: Name one of your talents that benefits clients most?
A: My interpersonal skills I believe go a long way and help to understand the client better and vice versa.
Q: How do you spend your time outside of the office?
A: I have a very busy life outside of work, I am on the Board of a non-profit company as a treasurer so it is work outside of work. Apart from that when I do take time off I love to travel, play games and listen to music.
