Audit Manager (CPA)
Kenneth Yu, CPA has been promoted to Audit Manager. Having joined Williams Adley in 2004, Kenneth has proven knowledge in audit and assurance, as well as consulting from both a strategic and tactical level. Kenneth's experience includes government, construction, non-profit, as well as consulting with major corporations throughout the U.S. He holds a bachelor's degree in Managerial Economics from University of California-Davis.
Q: What was your first job?
A: I worked at Macy's in the shoe department; it was a great opportunity to learn about customer service.
Q: What do you believe brings clients to Williams Adley?
A: I believe that a client driven service brings clients to Williams Adley. We take a hands on approach to our engagements and are there for our clients when they need our expertise.
Q: How do you keep a competitive edge?
A: I am always looking for better ways to make our engagements more efficient. By communicating with our team and understanding our projects we are able to bring to our clients a fundamental understanding of their accounting needs.
Q: Name one of your talents that benefits clients most.
A: I am very proficient in Microsoft Excel which is an important tool to utilize in Accounting. My desire to better serve each engagement enables me to quickly understand what is needed and therefore I am better able to assist each client.
Q: How do you spend your time outside of the office?
A: I walk my dog, play softball, volunteer for my church youth group and I serve on the board of BAAYF, a non-profit that runs a summer camp for various local churches. I believe in engaging our children and showing them leadership so that they can excel.
